Western Voice 2021: Meet D-Trix

Drumroll, please……

Introducing Dominic Sandoval, better known as D-Trix, the 2021 Western Voice Guest Judge!

D-Trix is an Asian-American dancer, YouTube personality, and dance competition judge.

D-Trix began breakdancing at 13 which fostered his love for dance. Early on in his dance career, he won the 2005 “Evolution 2” in Orlando, Florida with his breakdancing crew, Flexible Flav.

In 2009, he and his dance group Quest Crew won America’s Best Dance Crew. Shortly after, Quest Crew was invited to perform with the electronic dance music duo, LMFAO.

D-Trix also appeared on the third season of the hit television show, So You Think You Can Dance (SYTYCD), and later returned to both America’s Best Dance Crew and SYTYCD as a judge. He has also dabbled in choreography. He worked as a choreographer for the winning team, The Lab, on the second season of World of Dance.

Aside from dancing, D-Trix runs a popular YouTube channel called theDOMINICshow where he posts dance and comedy videos for over 3 million subscribers.

In addition to creating videos for his channel, D-Trix has been featured in several of nigahiga’s videos, and was seen in Smosh: The Movie.
